[Offtopic] Phat lewts

I got the best drop of all on Friday, March 20th.

Alaric James was born. He was 7 lbs, 20" and perfectly healthy, as is his mom. Everyone's doing great.

So if I don't blog much or answer questions all that quickly - you'll know why. I won't be raiding a whole lot in the upcoming months either, so...this is sort of a hiatus for the blog. I'll occasionally make the random mathematical post and I'll try and do the Ulduar gear list. No promises though.
Thanks to all for your well-wishes. :)

Very much grats. Whelpling Achievement is very fun, very rewarding, and costs you more sleep than you can possibly comprehend - but so worth it. I'm a new dad myself as of July last year, so I completely understand what you're feeling right now!

Get a bassinet if you don't have one, learn ninja swaddling skills, and take lots of pictures - because the get bigger too fast!

Grats again, Kalon! Enjoy the RL leveling grind to 18. :)

So many of my druid blogs are popping out babies! Hope everything is as amazing as I imagine it will be for you and your family.

Gratz! Damn that is some achievment! 9 months of work. Well... for you it was a short time of work, after which I bet your wife did the most of it. The only thing you had to do is keep dodging moodswings and grinding food I bet. Good thing you got a lot of agility!

All kidding aside.. enjoy it. real life is greater then wow.

Many Many Congratulations :)

you're now into the greatest raid of all and its lasts for the next 18 yrs at least !

mines now 16 months and is the reason i only do some daily's and 5 mans in Wow now.

one achievement you wont get anymore is 'enough sleep' or 'long weekend lie-ins' !

oh and as Rib says take a lot of pics/video - the changes in them in the first few months is amazing (as in the first year or so).

Man, the feral bloggers are a fertile bunch.

Start prepping your guildmates for the adjustments by routinely going afk in heroics with just an "afk baby".

Hell, macro it, you're going to be using it a lot :)

LK instances are more forgiving of having kids than the TBC ones (short duration) FWIW.

Congratulations.

Gratz!

You will be surprised at how little a new baby effects your play time... they sleep a lot at first.

Now once the little tyke hits 1-2 year range, that is a different story.

Congrats!

Congratulations! See if you can talent spec the little one into sleeping soundly through the night, and let the parents get lots of rest too.

Grats my friend! So much happiness those little ones bring to our life. I have 2 boys - 1.5 and 3.5 and I am still raiding 3-4 evenings a week.
TO be able to do so I established my own guild. And we are doing fine - killed Sart 3D last week – partially thanks to your great blog.
So it's up to you really - there is always an option to not stop doing what you really like but adapt to the situation :)

My baby boy is almost 9months old now. Cuts into WoW time, but best thing I ever did.
